You have been called
By that which has always known you better
Than you have known yourself.
If you do not respond to the call
Most likely
You will end up somewhere you are not at home.
You will be a stranger to your own skin.
You will feel you know more than you do.
You will not know how wounded you are.
You will not know the unseen presence
that has always supported you.

But if you do respond to the call
you will need to surrender to your life’s meaning

You will find that
enemies are often friends in disguise.
bringing out what is inside you will save you from that which can destroy you
the night dreams are connections to what you need to know.
the places of hurt are also places of blessing
the right people appear in your life at the right time
the money you have is all the money you need now
in darkness there is a candle
your body is an expression of who you are
asking for help is a sign of strength not weakness
in silence you will find a friend who has always known you.
your faith will be found after you decide to take the first step
your courage will come like the early morning’s dawn

Your calling will bring you
to a place where God has always been
to an urgency where never again will you delay to live
to music that will take you to your soul
to poetry that will become daily food
to risks that will take you to your heart

To follow your call
you will need to know how to go apart from the crowd,
and follow a path others may never understand
you will need to commit yourself to your life
settling only when you find the meaning
saying yes to your passion.
bearing the aloneness of your own authority.
And in time finding others who are looking in the same direction
